(Though at a certain point these will help)

It's more about 'problem solving' skills

Does what you sell - product or service - help a customer solve a problem?

Issue, concern, struggle, annoyance, challenge

('Pain' if you must - but don't use that word in conversation)

That's what they will be interested in

That's what to talk about

That's what makes it about THEM

Work around this for

🔸Outreach
🔸Meetings
🔸Proposals
🔸Presentations
🔸Reviews
🔸Social media
🔸Promotions

A big chunk of your activity should be about the customer

Eventually you'll get to flaunt your stuff

Don't be fooled with the stats that customers are looking to solve their problems so need to stumble across your product/service

They need someone who understands their problems and can help them get sorted

Show that you can do that

Highlight things they might not even be aware of

They'll be interested in talking to you then

And ultimately maybe even seeing your product

Problem > product

Insight not website
